In January 2023, Santo founded Dream Soccer, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the goal of providing economic equity and access to soccer academies for students from low income families. Dream Soccer’s focus was to sponsor the game’s next potential superstars by giving them an equal opportunity to make it to the next level of play through access to elite soccer academies. Dream Soccer successfully ran fundraisers and equipment drives which resulted in donations to the Boys and Girls Club of America in the New York City area.
After witnessing the unmasking of gender inequity during the the 2023 Women’s Soccer World Cup, and the US Women’s National Soccer Team’s fight for pay equity the year prior, Santo created FairPlay to expose inequity and increase opportunities in women’s sports at every level of the game.
